William is a professional double and electric bassist originally from Montréal, Québec. He began his musical studies at the University of Montreal and quickly established himself in the local scene, performing across genres including jazz, classical, bluegrass, and folk.

With his own group, William has graced some of Canada’s top stages, such as the Montréal Jazz Festival (2018 & 2019), Mont-Tremblant Jazz Festival (2017 & 2019), and Place des Arts de Montréal (2018 & 2019). From 2018 to 2022, he also played regularly in cities like New York, Toronto, and Winnipeg, expanding his reach across North America.

His relationship with Japan began in 2020 during his second visit, where he recorded a trio album with local musicians. Now based in Tokyo, he performs regularly in hotels and jazz clubs across the city.
