Flute, Piano, Sax
Erisa began her musical journey at age 3 on piano, picked up the flute at 10, and later started saxophone at 19. She studied music both in Japan and internationally, eventually earning awards from the Berklee College of Music and various national and international jazz festivals.
Her playing is known for its expressive phrasing and bold tone, earning praise from leading jazz critic Masahisa Segawa for “combining delicate beauty with a passionate, rich sound.” She’s also one of the few artists in Japan to master the Beatboxing Flute technique — performing flute and vocal percussion at the same time.
Erisa has performed on national television and at major jazz events, and continues to be an active performer in Tokyo’s music scene. She coaches flute, piano, and saxophone, with studies that emphasize both solid fundamentals and creative expression.
